Tap Join a Game and scan the QR code on the host’s phone, or type the four-letter code shown under it. Every phone needs to be online.

Tap Start a Game. When everyone has joined, continue, choose the characters, and start the game. The cards are dealt to every phone; once everyone has looked at theirs, start the night. Keep your volume up: your phone is the narrator.

Reopening the app brings it back into the same game. If a phone is gone for good, the host can remove that player, and the game carries on without them.

Yes: from the ⋯ menu, Leave Game. You are out of the game, and it carries on without you.

Joining a game is always free. The first game you host on a phone is free too, with every character included.

Unlimited games for 24 hours from when you buy it, for the host. It is a single purchase, not a subscription, and it does not renew. The price is shown in the app, in your local currency.

The game pauses before the next night until the host buys a new pass. Nothing in the game is lost.

No. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising. A game passes through our relay while it is being played, and the relay keeps none of it. Each player’s role and picks are encrypted for their own phone. The details are in the privacy policy.
